Terms and Conditions Please note that agreement with the following Terms and Conditions is obligatory before purchasing a blind from Tiger Blinds. Our Contract This website is an online shopping facility for you to purchase blinds at retail price for the purpose of self installation. Tiger Blinds are available only to buyers in England, Scotland and Wales. A contract between you and us shall be deemed legally binding upon acceptance of your order. Acceptance of your order will be confirmed by an e-mail which will be sent to you upon receipt of your order. Price The price as detailed on the order summary section will be the price payable for the Goods. This price, payable through PayPal, is inclusive of VAT but excludes shipping charges of £5.90 (for any number of blinds). The PayPal system is fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to protect fully all credit/debit card data. No credit/debit card data are handled, stored or transmitted by Tiger Blinds. Privacy Policy We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. The type of information we will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number and email address. PayPal will also collect your credit/debit card details. We will only use your details to process your order, and will not pass them on to any third party without your express permission. Order Cancellation by You Due to the fact that all goods are custom made to your specifications, they are deemed non-resaleable. We cannot cancel any orders once the order has been accepted by us. Cancellations will be accepted prior to your order confirmation e-mail being sent. Order Cancellation by Us In certain situations it may be necessary for us to cancel your order. This may be due to a production issue at the manufacturing plant, or other circumstances outside of our control. In the event of this occurring we will notify you via e-mail, and credit any money debited at order placement. We will not be liable for any compensation payment in the event of order cancellation by us. Product Description If you are in any doubt about any of the information in this website please contact our support team prior to order placement, and note that full fitting instructions will be sent with your blind(s). Please note that blinds are cut with high precision machines that nonetheless do have a tolerance of up to 5mm (less than one- fifth of an inch). We will not replace the blinds if the sizes are within this tolerance limit. It is also important to note that colour variations – sometimes pronounced – do occur between monitors. If you are uncertain about the colour of a fabric, please request a sample with the form available through the Swatch Request button. Once you receive a sample, bear in mind that there may still be small colour variations between this and the fabric from which your blind is made, as there are sometimes slight variations between dye lots. We would therefore suggest that you order all of your blinds of a given colour at one time. Once a fabric has been ordered we cannot be held liable for variations between colours viewed online and the finished product received. Product Measurements Please understand that it is your own responsibility to take the correct measurements of your window and to make allowances for any special features of your window recess. You do not have to deduct from your measurements to make sure our products will fit onto your windows. We cannot accept returns and make refunds if you have given us wrong measurements. We will not be able to resell those products and therefore we will not be able to refund the money. Please refer to the website for information regarding measurements, and if you are in any doubt about the measurements taken, please contact our support team prior to placing an order. Delivering Your Goods Goods will be despatched as soon as they are ready, usually within two weeks. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage or consequential loss arising out of any delay. On delivery of your blinds please ensure the boxes are in good condition. We reserve the right to name the products on our website differently from our manufacturer. The name on the boxes delivered might vary from the name of the product online. You must sign the courier’s delivery note and if damage has occurred ensure this is noted on accepting the goods. All goods should be fully inspected by you, to check they are in accordance with you order, prior to installation. Ownership & title of the goods will pass to you upon delivery. Liability Tiger Blinds cannot accept any responsibility for damage made to the product on installation. Full instructions are provided, but if you choose to pay a third party for the purpose of installing the goods and problems arise during installation we will accept no liability for the work carried out by such third parties. We give no warranty as to the fitness of the product supplied other than that of an internal window dressing. Any other uses are at your own risk. Defective Goods All Goods supplied by Tiger Blinds are covered by a 12-month guarantee against defects in craftsmanship or materials, beginning when the goods are delivered to you. If the goods arrive damaged or there is a defect in manufacturing, you must report this to Tiger Blinds within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Tiger Blinds cannot be held responsible for any damage or defect once this 7-day period has passed. Return of defective goods will only be accepted with prior notification. In the first instance you must contact Tiger Blinds by e-mail or telephone to explain the nature of the problem. In the event that the goods are defective we will arrange for their collection via courier at our expense. If the Goods are deemed defective due to misuse or due to incorrect measuring or ordering then all related costs of shipping will be passed on to you. If the goods are deemed defective we will offer you replacement of the goods, or a desired alternative.
